Yeah, Hardline Pro and Assassin Pro are pretty sweet.

Hardline Pro with Specialist is pretty damn cool, too.

Recon is pretty helpful, too, for finding campers or people hiding in a room.

I'm going to have to check out the Custom Class thingy. Not sure what I'm going to setup, though, since I use the SCAR almost exclusively, and that's a pretty low unlock level.

If you like the scar you will have to love the FAD for sure... Such a sweet gun.. and its a high level unlock so it is definatly worth a token (I think lvl 78)

I still haven't got the hang of the recon perk yet.. I will try this out some more though if you say its good Dark

Finally got to use the tokens, and I'm pretty stoked with the Custom Class Item Unlock option.

Gnu - If you go into the Prestige Shop, you might/should have two prestige tokens available to you. You can use them to add a new custom class, get 2xp for 2hrs, unlock custom class items (i.e. guns and perks) that aren't typically available until higher levels.

I used mine to unlock Blind Eye, Assassin and the Portable Radar. I'm gonna have to think real hard on what I want to unlock next, but I'm leaning towards Overkill, cus that's just an awesome perk.

Ram - I wasn't sold on Recon at first either, but then I started using it a little more, and figured out how it worked. Pretty good when you want to see where someone is hiding in a room, and unlike the Portable Radar, it's not affected by Assassin.

Did I give bad advise on the tokens?? You unlock one token each time you prestiege and one for each of the prior COD's that you prestiged in. I really don't think you can earn them any other way..

I watched one or two of the Fri. night fights.. i lost intrest pretty quick..

Gnu - I watch them on the elite.callofduty.com website. It's much more stable than the app, at least lately.

l4l - Thanks for the kudos, but I haven't done much other than send invites to our existing membership. I'd like to try to recruit from games, but as any of you that have played with me know, I don't talk much while in-game. Probably a good thing, too, now that we know the other team can hear you if they are nearby when they kill you.

We should do a test, next time we have a few guys on-line, and see if you can hear the other team chatting, just by being close to them, and not just after you've killed a guy.

Ram - I have to admit, that I wasn't to sure what to expect once I unlocked those items, until I finally hit level 5. I was looking for a 6th class to choose, but there wasn't one. Then it finally clicked and I realized you are unlocking those items for USE in your custom classes.

I'm pretty sure that would be correct Dark.. I still need to steige in W@W 2.. I remember weapon saying he prestiged in MW just so he could get an additional token.. I think it's cool they did it like this.. We finally do get to reap some benefits from being prestigers.

Ok, so I'm officially TIRED of the Striker and the no-skill-having ASSHOLES that can't seem to get kills without it!

I have been using the striker the last day or so and holy shit.... It is a powerful piece... I was thinking about unlocking all the stuff for it next stiege.. It is WAY overpowered...

Exactly my point. There is no way in hell that thing should be that powerful! Or have the kind of range it has!

That's the primary reason I started using the HotDog SMG. It's about the only way I can counter the full-auto shotty's, without resorting to using them myself. And I really wouldn't have too much of a problem with them, if it was just one person on a team, or once in a while. But when the entire party is using them, in every match they play in, that it just get's retarded, and I end up leaving the match.

The range and damage perk are what make the difference for that gun... It takes alot of games running kick and a grip to level the gun up to get damage and range.. Unless you are a hacker.. Which I have heard alot about prestige token hacking and instant p10 lately.... BS

Funny thing happened last night. First game of the evening put me into a match against the same bunch of douches from the night before. This time I switched to my run-n-gun class (the one with the HotDog SMG). It was funny as hell to hear the main douche's astonishment when he was the one dying, instead of me. I can't remember the last time I head WTF that many times in a single match! I've never been so happy to hear someone complain about dying!

BTW, I checked out a couple of those douches, and they weren't running any proficiency's, but one did have the grip.

They all had 10 custom classes, too, so I wonder if they were also hacking tokens or levels. One guy only had about 100hrs playing, and was p8 or p9 already! I know I'm a slow leveler, but that seems a little unrealistic.

On a happier note, I'm +11 kills away from a 1:1 KDR!!! I'm sure this is pretty unimpressive to most of you (especially those with a +2KDR), but it's the first time EVER that I've been this close to a positive KDR.

LOL.. Congrats on the KD Dark.. MW3 players are tough company. Espically when the little punks hack to get everything... A positive KD is a great accomplishment..

i always have great KDR...

but i miss the Clan...when i played with the clan, i would dive in, hold the DZ, get some kills and share all my packages

now, it is hard, sometimes i have to play "sniper" and hang back, killing the other team before they get near the DZ, or i have to be on the DZ solo, while everyone else gets kills..which sucks cuz, i have nades bouncing off my head, toobs blasting me, copters gunning me...oh well...it is still a great game..

Sorry I missed ya last night... I'm so damn close to beating Dead Island. But I was on MW3 for 2 hours or so.. I can't kill anyone anymore.. I gotta get back in the groove. I probably won't be on til late tonight..

Has anyone else noticed a difference in game play between new TV's and older TV's?

We have 1 newer TV that I've only played MW3 on once before, and I was doing soooo bad, that I thought I was just having a bad day. Well, the other day, while playing with you all, I was playing on that same TV, and again I was doing horrible! I tried adjusting the TV settings and the controller sensitivity, but the motion of the game just seemed really, really strange.

The only real difference between the two is one is 120MHz, and the other is 60MHz. I thought I had turned off the 120MHz motion enhancement settings, but that didn't seem to help at all. I didn't notice this as much with BO, or any other games for that matter, but MW3 is definitely affected by this TV.

Fredd highly remommend the improved action of the 120hz over the 60 hz, he says it is the best way to play MW3

however i think he got a new 600hz tv last year and originally had tons of troubles, i think it was a similar complaint, the other players moved "faster" and it was harder to aim...

i play on a cheapo 60hz, and i have no comparison...everyonce and a whle i seem to get a video glitch, but i attributed it more to Lag than the tv...

For me, 120hz sucked BIG TIME! My movement was so off, that I couldn't hit a person that was standing right in front of me as I was trying to turn. This, however, is not the case when I'm using my older TV that is only 60hz. I'm not sure what the reason is for this, but it is the second time I have had this problem. The first time I figured it was just 'cus I sucked, but now I'm not sure that't it.

I may try again, adjusting some of the settings, or using the pre-configured Game setting, to see if that helps out at all.

let me know, cuz i was under the impression that 120HZ, was much better for COD...

i dont need to go into theroy, cuz id prob be wrong, BUT i was under the impression you got TWICE as many immages per second with 120hx,

I can definitely say that it did not help me at all. If i'm remembering correctly, it was the motion smoothing that seemed to affect me the most. It's almost like the TV slowed down the turning speed as I was turning from right to left.

I'll let ya know what I find the next time I get a chance to mess with it.

i havnt heard of that feature...is it only for gaming? i imagine motion smoothing would screw up things like football watching too..

I think that's what they market it as. I'm not sure what it actually does, but it DEFINITELY does change the way the TV handles motion. I've noticed it with movies as well as games, but never as bad as with MW3.

I played BO almost exclusively on this TV, and I was doing quite well until I lost interest in it, too. All the other games I play seem to be okay, in fact, they all look a tad bit better on this newer TV.

I guess, for now, I'll be sure to only play on the older TV, so I don't suck any workse that I already do.
