COD ELITE THREAD

Looks like the connect page is down again, so I can't check to see who all I sent invites to. There were a few on the list that I could not sent to, either because they had not played a multi-plater match yet, or they didn't have an MW3 account.

Not sure why it isn't working for you. You may have to just keep re-trying, since the servers seems to be up/down quite a bit.

You may be able to see your invites via the elite.callofduty.com portal, but that also seems to be up and down quite a bit.

You know, i just realized that I'm not limited to PS3 players for invites.

I'm gonna start sending invited to our heXbox members too.

I think I spoke to soon, on the ability to send invites to the heXbox members. So far, all the names I've searched, are PS3 players. Kind of a shame that we can't even have that be cross-platform!

BTW, it also looks like we have to wait until we reach certain clan levels, I presume based on clan XP gained from membership, to get a Clan tag and title. Not sure how much exp is needed for either, but would be cool if we could get all our players linked to the clan.

Also, it looks like I can promote someone else to leader, so let me know who that should be for the PS3 side. I'm assuming RamRod, since he's the Regiment leader, but let me know.

I've logged into elite, but now its a massive over-glorified player card, that doesnt work properly? also, there is an FTY! clan, no 4TaY clan (on PS3), and the one single member of the clan I don't recognise the name, something andrew?

It is actually "Fortay" I am still having the issue with joining however... I see no invite pending?? The elite is still majorly buggy

i didn't call activision, but i read the "having problems" blog, which mostly deals with important issues, like is you PS3 on, pluged in, attached to a tv, connected to the internet, actualy paid for membership...in otherwords..totaly worthless..

at least they admit they still have massive problems, however, they ALSO said that most "Founding" members (me!) should be up and rolling by now...FUCK

im going back online thismorning, using my computer, see if i can figure this shit out...

the WORST part is..am i doing something wrong????..or is this a activision prob...??????

i have accepted Dark's invite 5 time now..

i get data on my player stats page, but my "Clan" page is blank, well some background art, and a pop up entitled "what is a clan?" but nothing through my computer, however it is the only page that dosent pop up the HTTPS security question, hmmm, i guess in a week, when im the only one that is NOT in the clan, i'll know it is me...

anyone wanna send me the invite?

I have to go back to ireland to get PSN credit! Then I will join ELITE.


Srtill not impressed by MW3.

but as i have mentioned before,I think they have pused the limits of the heXbox and PS3, so im not expecting any big changes until a new system

Yea, chat is shocking!! I turn it off all the time.

Has anybody got a screech through their headset too? Like deafening screech for like 30 secs? (It may be my headset but I'm putting it down to MW3 at the moment)

Activision recommends clearing your cache and cookies if you are having trouble viewing the 'clans' page, or using IE or firefox, they had no specific advice for me however..FLUK

anyway..fro a bries second when i went to the clans pafe i saw a "fortay" then "clans" then "groups", so i might be geting close...lets see 4 weeks to figure out how to join...then 8 weeks to figiure out what im doing...pretty gay elite rollout activision...just a bunch of hype, with no real content..big disapointment...i was expecting 'something'..oh well, at least my DLC will be 'no charge' for da year

I'm going to delete all pending invites, and try re-sending them to everyone, Except Fredd, because he was able to accept it already.

Ok. All invites re-sent. I compiled a list of members I sent invites to, and who I could not sent invites to. Remember to give agree to give the clan the 500 XP, so we can level up the clan, and unlock more options.

I created a Fortay group today, too. Not sure what the hell groups are, really, but figured why not go ahead and create one.

I think anyone can join a group, too, so let people you play with, that aren't FTY, know about the group.

I know when I registered to cod in my wii day my name was capt.ramrod lol that maybe the name you will have to send the invite to. It is showing as my cod forum name.

Sorry for the troubles buddy. I still am not confident that when I do receive the invite I will even be able to accept it because L4L can't accept his.

l4l's on the roster now, so he must have figured it out. Not sure if he used the Elite PS3 app, or the website, though. Weird thing is that there is no way of seeing if someone is already in a clan. Would be nice if they provided that info!

Dark: as far as I know Veggie,Fredd,you,ram,me are the only elite members...i think we will be able to invite Gnu as soon as Elite fixes bugs, since he is across the pond...

Sweet! At least it's "sorta" working. We're up to Level 3, and only need 76xp to Level 4! We get a custom emblem at level 5, so let's get this Shizzle working for everyone!

We'll have to try to get Sam over to Fortay, unless we would rather use 4Tay?
