lol, like he said, the map make a diff, and you have to be willing to give up your KDR for a victory...and 1 smart sniper can Fuk thing up...

well we got 6 FTY, and did the wolfpack..

the first map (IDK the name) went well and we won- But since we arnt as good as the team in the demo, we died quite a bit, but my kdr was at about 70%, which isnt bad for me on a domination...about 2 players on the other team caught on, and went to sniping, but with good communication, we took em out pretty quick, and kept running...

the next map was the Quarry...too big it didnt work out as good...we got more kills but lost the match...

Yeah.. This is a real effective stratagy on the smaller map with only 2 capture points on the outsides of the map...

Even on the larger map... if everyone know what is going on.. its a good stratagy to just forget about one of the capture points and only focus on 2..

If you can keep 2 bases captured for the better part of the game it is a for sure win.

i agree, that helped alot, i think the other thing is keeping the 2 groups togother, if 3 guys run in at once, a lurker can only get one, but if we each run around a corner 5 seconds apart...Bang1 Bang2 Bang3...then we gotta hope the guys from the other direction kik the lurkers ass...

but i think it is worth trying again....

I think we should host an FTY game, get our strategy together and go for it

anyway Yesterday we only got one good map to try it on...the same one as the first time..somebody remeber the name of that map?

well, we sent 4 FTY left and 4 Right and HEEVEE hid under a truck and cried or sumthing, jk, THE game went great, 200-98, they never knew what hit them, as you can tell form the score they NEVER got A or C either...but gotta be on the right maps to do it...my KDR was about 1.0 (Very good 4 lookin)

Would probably be a good idea to practice on ways to counter this technique, too. That way you can snuff out the other teams ambitions of Conquering, err Dominating, the match.

There is a simple way to counter this. Spawn trapping.

Nip - That only works if you can control 2 of the 3 points. If the other team is using this technique, I would think it would make it tough to control the two points.

I suppose you could have 2/3 your team camp and take out the "woflpack" as they make their laps, while the remaining 1/3 captures the other points.

Than maybe turn it around on them and start your own laps to control the other team.

IDK if this would work, but may be worth trying.

Gnu - Spawn trapping is where the opposing team controls 2 out of 3 points in Domination, thus forcing your team to keep respawning at the one point you control. If this is a spot that does not have any easy exit points, like for example the point on Afghan by the bunker, they have effectively trapped you in that area. Now they can camp out and rack up kill streaks and points for holding down the other two points.

All ya need to fudge up a pack is a couple claymores and a spaz or aa12.
