Battlefield 3 WITH GAMEPLAY

he PC version will not have mod tools at release. DICE said that Frostbite 2 was complex and that the tools would have to be dumbed down.

The game will also feature four classes, but will talk about squads “later.” DICE is also looking into a theatre mode, but won’t talk about it. It did confirm it will have a Killcam that can be turned off.

It’s already been confirmed the game will take place in Tehran, Paris and New York, but DICE also confirms that Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan will be in the game.

DICE also said it is trying to find the sweet spot for character customisation and not having “pink rabbit hats”. It’ll also feature a lot more unlocks than what was in Bad Company 2.

“The more variation you have [in the characters], the less you can have in the rest of the world,” producer Patrick Bach told the mag.

“I think it also has to do with the way you play more professionally. You don’t want people to look completely different. It’s team A versus team B. It’s always a challenge – how do you personalise a uniform? Giving the pink rabbit hat to someone would make it fun, but if you’re running around and you don’t know what you’re shooting at, you don’t take the professional gaming seriously in my book.”

Bach continues: “There’s a challenge between personalising and keeping it uniform. We will do more in that area, making sure that you can get your character to be more personalised both in a visual way and more specifically in the way you gear up. We did a good job I would argue with Bad Company 2 with specialisations, different scopes and different weapons – you can kind of find your way of playing the game, which broadens the game for more people.”

lookin- i dont think you'd be patient enough to play battlefield. haha. its very slow paced, unless you get in a match with all run n guners. and even then, it takes a while to find someone. i don't like bc2 very much at all. ill give b3 a shot though.

yuh, I've been meaning to pick up a copy of red dead for a little while now too..... just it's not so easy picking it up from a store when it has a +2 age rating on the box....



but what I REALLY want is to buy a ninty64, because my cousin used to own one with a few EPIC games - what started off my gaming. The main game which I absolutely LOVED, and I what I STILL think is the best ever fps is James Bond The World Is Not Enough. I mean everybody goes mad about goldeneye, but in comparison to TWINE, goldeneye is NOTHING. The 4 way shooters, on the labarynth map, where everybody raced to the centre of the map to pick up the huge RPGesque thing to rape the living testicles off of the others was just hillarious.
Every time I saw them, we'd just go STRAIGHT onto that, right up until I went home. It was THAT GOOD. And basically, had I not've played that, I would never have started playing Medal of Honour on the PS, and had I never have done that, I'd never have gotten CoD for the wii, and thus never have joined RoT (which was by fluke anyway - damn nasty with his recruitment threads being put in the wrong area of the CoD5 forums.... ), thus would never have made Fty.
TWINE was very much the beggining for me.


One day I hope to get my hands on a MINT ninty64 and copy of TWINE with 4 controllers, and jizz my little g-string off, as I play it into my late fourties, since my cousin stupidly sold his ninty with games to his local store, to get a 360 about 5 years ago (I was genuinely upset, because I'dve bought it right off him if I knew he wanted to sell), but yeah...... one day....

the n64 started me into gaming too. one Christmas, back when there were only three grandchildren on my mother's side of the family, my grandparents put a $100 bill on the tree for each of us. now i dont know about Britain, but here in Murrica, every little boy and girl gets a Toys R Us Big Gift book or something like that, i forget the exact title. In it, they have all the big sales and coupons that the little boys and girls go through and circle what they want, not getting but one thing from it usually. of course you dont realize that until your 16, topless and posting on a forum. one of the things i circled, but didnt receive that year, was a golden limited edition nintendo 64 with two golden controllers and Jet Force Gemini (my first game, rated T for Teen, i was a giddy little lad; though by today's standards, it would easily be E, maybe E10+). now this n64 was for the price of $100, i, to this day, dont know how much the actual retail value was of a brand new n64. so we get it and i loved the game, never beat it, but i still have it and my n64, so i suppose one day, if i get really bored, i could pick it back up. since that day, ive not gone through a birthday or Christmas looking for presents without searching up video games.

my joining of RoT was a fluke too, lol. kevin had recently gotten waw on the wii to and i didnt even know what a clan was. he called me up one night and asked if i wanted to join one, after explaining what in the world it was, i said sure. he gave me the url for rot and i signed up. and the rest is meaningless to mention.

gnu- as for homefront, get it! i got it the day after it came out and love it. better than blops in my opinion.

JT: Battlefield slow paced? Have you ever squad spawn into the fire fight? I'll admit it is slower than CoD but it 10x more fun at that pace especially if your playing rush. I'm definitely getting B3 and it's gonna be fun.

I started with an N64 playing SSB mainly then I got a PS2 and eventually picked up a copy of CoD2:BRO which was awesome never played mp on it but I wish I did. When I got a wii and saw that WaW was coming out I picked up a copy went on it's forums joined a clan with Fx called the Marine Raiders which collapsed after 2 weeks eventually I added KaZoO and he and Fx spammed me invites on WaW telling me to come to their site which I did signed up and was raped.

top- maybe its because i sniped all the time so i spawned away from the action on purpose. either way, the only map that i could always find someone on was the one with the city at the bottom of the hill.

ah that's the problem If your going to lay back your not going to see anyone try picking up a medic kit and blast through to the m-comm.

too late now, i returned the game like two weeks after i got it :p
