Zodiac's virus thread...

I WAS going to just make another topic but since this is already off topic i figured i would just post this here

i got a virus i have no idea of how to get rid of so i dunno if ill be online much or at all

Try clearing your download file it might stall it for while and what anti virus you got

is there an anitvirus for ps3? do i need it? zodiac has got me all worried now

It's not on his PS3 plus gnu there's not to many PS3 virus's out there.

i got avast and some spybot thing and sorry i wont be home for a few days

For the computer lookin recommends: Norton AV (about $30 to $40) and Lavasoft Adaware (free)

you may have to run adaware a few times, because sypware gets so imbedded, but it has always won for me in the end...after it runs the first time, it may ask for a reboot to remove spyware lodged in you win.exe file...

also..i have seen hackers on the ps3, my best advice is, if you seem to be gettin strange gameplay, or someone is somewhere they shouldnt be on the map, leave, or your account info may be damaged (but NOT your ps3)

so far i have not heard of a specific PS3 virus, since everything we do on the ps3 is filtered through the sony server...but IDK, post if you know im wrong....

I suggest Kapersky. It's the best av out there with the least strain on performance. price I forget but it's about the price of a new Game methinks.
